Dual-Purpose Lure

Designed for versatility in a variety of angling situations, the Spoon Buzzer can be fished extremely slow on the surface or it can be ripped across the surface. When fishing it slow the spoon body will wobble back and forth slightly. If you are not having success on the surface, take the skirt off and fish it below the surface. You now have a dual-action in-line spinner — it is like having two lures in one. The buzzer blade will be spinning, and the lure body will have a controlled wobble that rocks 180 degrees back and forth, accentuating the Sound Chamber even more. This method is very successful on sluggish fish as you are able to keep the lure in the strike zone longer with a very slow retrieve.

The patented Skirt Strap offers the ability to remove the existing skirt and exchange it with another skirt, plastic worm or any other type of trailer — you can get creative here!

The Red Ripper is a metal crankbait with a sound chamber that can be fished at any depth.

First, you can just cast it out and reel it in. Keep your rod tip pointed down at the water. No swivel is needed and you can put some speed on it and it will not spin or dart all over the place. Please remember it is also a great stop and go retrieve lure. When you stop the lure it will wobble very slowly towards the bottom and pick up its action very quickly when you start to reel it again.

Second, the Red Ripper can be fished as a jerk bait under the surface.

Third, it can be skittered across the surface and dropped next to cover or dropped in holes when you are fishing heavy cover.

Nemire's new synthetic trailers are custom made for Nemire's Red Ripper and Spoon Buzzer series of lures. Just slip them over the built in skirt strap and get a good grip on your rod. They can also be used on many other types of lures such as Spinner Baits, Jigs, etc. At full length, 5 1/4", they are designed to provoke a strike from all the lunkers, but they also can be trimmed to any length, so they match the hatch the fish are feeding on at different times of the year.
