Katchmor Co’s home of Nemire Lures announces the signing of Michael McCoy as the Company’s Director of Sales and Marketing.

Katchmor Co’s home of Nemire Lures announced today that they have hired Michael McCoy to become the company’s Director of Sales and Marketing. McCoy’s responsibilities will include sales, marketing, business development, as well as managing its freshwater and saltwater pro-staff programs.

In announcing the news Katchmor Co’s President and CEO Al Lundstrom said “we’re pleased to bring Mike on board, his energy, management skills and out of the box style of thinking will be a great asset to the company as we look to grow the business and expand our product lines”.

Before joining Katchmor Co’s McCoy was in charge of recruiting, sales and account management for a Cleveland, Ohio based staffing firm. Prior to that he served for fourteen years in the United States Marine Corps, where at his last assignment he was in charge of all human resources operations for a unit of one thousand Marines. McCoy has been an avid sports fisherman since childhood and in recent years has participated, with success, in many local, regional and national tournaments. Although McCoy is new to the fishing industry he stated “I believe that my previous endeavors have prepared me for my current position, and I am looking forward to the new challenges this position will provide”.

McCoy also noted: “I feel honored to be associated with a company like Katchmor. We share the same outlook when it comes to business, and that is to uphold high standards so we produce a quality product; take care of the customer to ensure satisfaction and support the grass roots anglers, because they are the future of sport fishing”.

Mike Surman takes 9th on Lake Guntersville!
Nemire pro Mike Surman tied for fourth on Day one with 24 pounds, 9 ounces. On day 2 he made the cut by bumping his total up to 40lbs 10 oz.
