<p><strong>Patented Skirt Strap</strong> <br />Nemire Lures’ patented skirt strap offers the ability to remove the existing skirt and exchange it with another Nemire color skirt or a Nemire Trailer, all of which are interchangeable. Get creative with the colors, skirts, and trailers, and try to “Match the Hatch” to simulate the local baitfish.</p>
<p><strong>Patented Adjustable Weed Guard</strong><br />Nemire Lures’ patented fiber weed guard is adjustable. The base is made from surgical stainless steel and can be bent up for fishing heavy cover and can be pushed down if fishing open water to increase your hook sets. The Red Ripper is made with surgical steel to endure adjustments without breaking large fish from red fish to Largemouth bass to striped bass!</p>
<p>First, you can just cast out the Red Ripper lure and reel it in. Keep your rod tip pointed down at the water. No swivel is needed and can be retrieved fast or slow with the same 180° action. Please remember it is also a great stop and go retrieve lure. When you stop the Red Ripper spoon lure it will wobble very slowly towards the bottom and pick up its action very quickly when you start to reel it again.</p>
<p>Second, the Red Ripper can be fished as a jerk bait under the surface.</p>
<p>Third, it can be skittered across the surface and dropped next to cover or dropped in holes when you are fishing heavy cover.</p>
<p>Fourth, you can remove the Red Ripper skirt and replace it with a plastic trailer. Just slide the trailer over the skirt strap and then push down the strap to lock the trailer in place. The skirt strap was built into the lure just for that purpose.</p>
<p>Fifth, you can fish it without any skirt or trailer at all, especially when they are feeding on smaller baitfish. This is a deadly bass lure, red fish lure, striper lure, musky lure and more.</p>
